SOLOMON is a one-woman show exploring motherhood in a world where reproductive autonomy is under threat. Karen Solomon is a thirty-seven-year-old legal assistant who may be pregnant. Or not. She’s waiting in the doctor's office for the test that will confirm whether a one-off, less-than-satisfying, mostly sad sexual encounter will have lasting consequences. If so, she'll have to decide whether that consequence is something she wants to carry, and raise. The legal concept of "duty of care" circulates: what care does a woman owe to her child, herself, and society?
